I had booked through a discount site. The day I was to stay, unfortunately my daughter became very sick. I had to cancel my night out to stay with her. I called the hotel to ask to reschedule my night. I wasn’t trying to cancel altogether but just reschedule. The clerk on the phone was rude and told me I had to call the site I booked through. When I dealt with them they claimed they were attempting to negotiate with the hotel and I was checking every few hours, stressed about the money lost and my sick child. By the next day the site listed they had been unable to negotiate with the hotel. Shame on them for being so unwilling to help!
